Over two weeks, I took this TV everywhere. Here are a few scenarios where it shined:
1. Camping Trip:
We went camping with a group, and while everyone else was huddled around a tiny phone screen, I set up the TV on a picnic table. We streamed a movie under the stars, and the battery lasted the entire film (about 2 hours) with brightness at 50%. The built-in speakers were loud enough for 6 people to hear without disturbing the campsite.
2. Work From Coffee Shop:
I used it as a secondary monitor for my laptop, extending my screen to have Slack on one side and Google Docs on the other. The touchscreen came in handy for scrolling through emails, and the USB-C port charged my laptop while I worked (win-win).
3. Kids' Playdate:
My niece and nephew visited, and instead of letting them fight over my phone, I fired up Disney+ on the TV. They watched cartoons for hours, and the parental controls (via Google Family Link) let me restrict what they could access. The sturdy stand meant I didn't have to worry about them knocking it over.
4. Movie Night at a Friend's Apartment:
My friend has a small living room, so we used the
hy300 ultra projector to cast the TV's screen onto a blank wall. Instant home theater! The TV acted as the source, so we could control the movie from the remote without fumbling with the
projector.
